About me

Welcome. I am Jiwon Byun, a PhD candidate in Macro Organizational Behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, advised by Glenn Carroll and Adina Sterling.

I study how culture and social structure shape attention, evaluation, and strategic outcomes in markets. My work uses large-scale panel data, causal inference, computational text and network analysis, and agent-based modeling, with applications in cultural markets, entrepreneurship, and scientific collaboration.
